FREDDY WILL PREPARES TO RECORD
HIS KRIO (CREOLE) LANGUAGE ALBUM

NEW JERSEY, USA – November 18th,2009    The year ‘2009’ will go down in the history books for many reasons: environmental disasters, major entertainment stars losing their lives, housing disasters and massive foreclosures and the financial crisis just to name a few.

For underground Hip Hop Artist and author FREDDY WILL™, he set his sights on the many goals he wanted to accomplish for 2009. (Release an album or two, write a book, you know, things like that).

If you read FREDDY WILL’s™ biography
http://www.freddywill.com/Biography.html

you will clearly see what elements has made FREDDY WILL™ who he is today.  His sheer determination and years of struggle … real struggle … the kind of struggle that most of us can not even imagine on a good day, made him come through 2009 like a lion despite the turmoil in the world around him.  As he always does, he succeeded.

Independent recording artist and author FREDDY WILL™ has stormed the entertainment stage again with a colossal new release of his third musical offering which title is yet to be announced.

Earlier this year, it was announced in a press release on www.freddywill.com that a FREDDY WILL™ record, entirely in the ‘Creole/Krio’ language of Sierra Leone was in the works.  FREDDY WILL™ also announced that the album is being completed at THUNDER DOME SOUNDS in Ontario, Canada with super producer and JUNO Award winner EDDIE BULLEN.

There are very few guest appearances on this album, I wanted to do a record which would challenge my creativity and address African audiences directly. On this one, I put a streetwise twist to typical West African storytelling. Then I stretched my vocal range between rapping and singing melodies and hooks... And yes the entire album is in Creole. I went back to my roots with this one and it's really tight.” FREDDY WILL™ explained.

The Creole/Krio language album plays with a nonchalant but profound pleasant-sounding sensation. The album is scheduled to be released with a new book where the Creole/Krio lyrics are translated into English (for his English audiences).  Tracks include titles like, ‘Ends Meet’, ‘Dark Horse’, ‘Promise’ and ‘International’ to name a few. There are two English tracks on FREDDY WILL’s newest album where one of them, an emotionally charged social conscious hit entitled ‘Save’ which will feature some very well known guests appearance.

The album is set to be released through the internet on  March 22nd, 2010.  It will be physically released in FREETOWN, SIERRA LEONE during the months of April and May of 2010 (God willing). In addition, a deluxe package containing the second edition of his book, ‘My Book Of Chrymes’ and a copy of his last album entitled ‘While I’m Still Young - The Talking Drums 1.2v’ will be released later in the Fall of 2010 when physical copies of the Creole album becomes available in Canada, London, England and the United States of America.

Both albums (his debut and sophomore releases) are currently available for physical distribution and licensing to the West Africa region. For more information on how you can buy the exclusive rights to sell the book and the albums in your territory, please email your enquiries and contact details to FREDDY WILL INDUSTRIES at

  PRESS RELEASE

FREDDY WILL TO RELEASE NEW CREOLE LANGUAGE ALBUM

  IN FALL 2009

TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, February 5th, 2009 -
Freddy Will returns to the studio to record a 'Creole' hip hop album in an effort to target his African fans. This album which will be his third solo offering is currently untitled.  The album is set to hit stores and online late Fall 2009 via his label Ghetto Breed Entertainment (GBE).

Freddy Will continues to relate to his African roots.  He has long been respected for his flow, lyrical wit and longevity, blossomed after he dropped his first mixtape in 2006.  In 2008, Freddy Will released his debut studio album and the question has since become, can he still relate to the days when he sought refuge in war torn regions of Africa? As an avid hip hop head living the urban American culture, it is easy to see why critics would suggest that the Brookfields born, Liberian bred artist who spent all his adult years in New Jersey, may have forgotten his African origins…perhaps? Not true.

When asked about the upcoming Creole album, Freddy Will said, 'I was inspired by French rappers in Dakar, Senegal years ago and always wanted to do a record in an African language. I found myself in New Jersey before I could do that. Now I've grown as an artist and I'm tailoring my career to be more versatile. I think the fans are gonna enjoy it.'

Freddy Will’s first musical offering (which was released in 2006 as an original mixtape) bears no samples or previously used instrumentals.  It talked about his street experiences in New Jersey which comes after his experiences in West Africa. 'Stay True - the mixtape' garnered lots of buzz and kudos in both the United States and Canada because it held no punches.  This mixtape is now considered his most street album to date and by some, it’s his ‘real’ debut

because of its originality.

By 2008, Freddy Will surprised everyone with a more refined flow on his crossover album entitled, “While I'm Still Young - The Talking Drums”. This album has several cuts from the mixtape as well as some interesting new crossovers with calypso, rock, jazz and reggae influences, again with no samples or instrumentals.  Ghetto Breed Entertainment promoted the album heavily and it garnered some favor with critics who received it well. This album is set to be re-released on July 7th, 2009 with three (3) new singles.

The Creole album, which is currently being recorded, has no English.  Freddy Will speaks Creole and continues to delve into his African roots musically.   The first Creole single will be released Summer 2009.

Freddy Will is also signing an exclusive book and publishing deal with a company that's based in both Toronto and USA for his first two self written books which are both scheduled to be released in 2009, details to follow.

                                                    PRESS RELEASE

FREDDY WILL AXES DISTRIBUTORS AND PREPARES FOR INTERNATIONAL SHOWCASE!!

NEW JERSEY, USA, January 25TH, 2009 – The year started out very busy for New Jersey rapper Freddy Will as he prepares for an international showcase.

Freddy Will, the CEO and President of Ghetto Breed Entertainment started the year off by giving his former distributors (Soulkiss Ent./DEP/Universal Music Canada) the axe after several discrepancies over their Promotional, Marketing and Distribution contract which was signed last year.

Freddy Will has not spoken publicly on the details but is quoted as saying, "I only work with people who can be trusted and Soulkiss Entertainment did not fulfill their contact and therefore, did not measure up."  As a matter of fact, Ghetto Breed Entertainment (GBE) reportedly clinched back the rights to its internet distribution from Soulkiss Ent who claimed that his album would be distributed in stores nationally and online through DEP/Universal Music Canada

In addition, Freddy Will's debut album "While I'm Still Young - The Talking Drums" is being re-vamped with three (3) new songs and will be re-released July 7th, 2009 and distributed through Ghetto Breed Distributions and Double K Records. This album re-release will be commence jointly with the launch of Freddy Will’s first book 'My Book Of Chrymes'. In related news, Freddy Will started recording a new album in Creole (one of the native languages of Sierra Leone) with Juno Award winner Eddie Bullen who produced the majority of Freddy Will’s debut album.

The Creole hip hop album, which is currently 'untitled,' will be released in Fall/Winter of 2009 and be distributed worldwide through Ghetto Breed Distributions and Double K Records. This will bring Freddy closer to his African hip hop fans who have supported him throughout his career.  Guest artists are not confirmed yet for the album but negotiations are currently underway for several high profile African artists to appear on the album. This new album will be available at www.freddywill.com and Freddywill's jamroom at Soul Asylum Poetry and Publishing along with a new list of vendors where the revamped album, his book and Creole album will be available (to be announced soon).

After the Creole album is released Freddy Will is launching an international showcase of both albums and his book starting off in Europe, then to Africa then he will return back to the United States of America.  Upon his return to Toronto, Canada, the second book (which is an action fiction novel) will be released.  Look out for these exciting new releases from Freddy Will in 2009!!

QUOTE:

"I'm very excited for what Ghetto Breed Entertainment is set to accomplish this year. I enjoy working with Eddie [Bullen} he’s a blast to work with.  I love to perform my music and I'm really looking forward to performing in Africa again.  I’m waiting to hear the reaction to my books also.'

                                                    PRESS RELEASE

FREDDY WILL RENAMES HIS PUBLISHING COMPANY

NEW JERSEY, USA, January 7th, 2009 - Major changes are underway in the Freddy Will camp which led to a huge restructuring of his companies. After the promotional disaster suffered in 2008 when Soulkiss Entertainment were unable to fulfill their end on a national promotion, marketing & distribution deal by placing physical albums in stores nationwide, Freddy saw a need to make drastic cuts and re-adjustments in order to continue his business.

Ghetto Breed Entertainment is pleased to announce that it has severed all ties with Soulkiss Entertainment, nullifying their entire agreement that once bonded the two companies due to breach of contract.  A lawsuit is pending.

Fans and supporters were unable to buy Freddy Will’s album as promoted and the few who ordered it through Soulkiss Ent/DEP/Universal Music Canada from Amazon.ca had to wait for several weeks to receive their copy if at all.  Moreover, the 'Badson Publishing' name became unsuitable when Freddy Will expanded his publishing company to include books, screenplays, poems and comics which may not necessarily fall in the same category as his music.

'Badson Publishing’ has been officially renamed to ‘Freddy Will Publishing’ to accommodate the new expansion.  A new division was also created under Ghetto Breed Entertainment to facilitate the Internet and physical distribution of GBE's merchandise worldwide.

QUOTE:
"It's a shame that Soulkiss Entertainment was not upfront with Ghetto Breed Entertainment about what they can and can't do. One thing I do not tolerate in this business is posers. Tell me the truth no matter how bad it is and I will respect you more than if you mislead me. Another thing I don't want to hear is a long spill about how this industry works from someone who doesn’t know how to fulfill contracts and run his own business…..period." Freddy Will

                                                 PRESS RELEASE

FREDDY WILL’S SINGLE ‘CITY BOY’ DEBUTS IN WEST AFRICA

TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, December 15th, 2008 - The calypso/hip hop crossover single 'City Boy' off of Freddy Will's 2008 debut album "While I'm Still Young - The Talking Drums" was received by Freetown's renowned DJ Jahway and is in rotation at several radio stations and night clubs in Sierra Leone, West Africa.

Freddy Will, having migrated to the United States of America via Dakar, Senegal after living on refugee status in Latrikunda German, The Gambia; Freddy Will's album had been anticipated in West Africa for several years. The rapper who is also a screenwriter and author, gained popularity in the region during the early to mid 1990's when he began lip syncing lyrics from songs by his favorite rap artists such as Ice - T, L.L. Cool J, Naughty By Nature, Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G, Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube (to name a few). He soon began to write his own original rap songs and perform them all over Freetown, Sierra Leone at numerous school variety and local talent shows there.

Freddy Will later moved to The Gambia and then to Senegal where he became respected for his flow and lyrical wit. His demos aired on Gambia's West Coast radio regularily and received heavy rotation and he is still revered to this date as one of the best. He gave several performances at five (5) star tourist hotels such as Senegambia Hotel and Palmarima Hotel and he also performed at ICE High and Gambia high school galas.

His most notable was his performance in Latrikunda German where he amused a large crowd with a theme song he had co - written with his musical ace Peter Lebbi for Mr. Ngibah's 'Lend A Hand Society.'  Fans waited patiently after he went silent for several years while living in New Jersey, USA.  The debut of 'City Boy' off his album “While I’m Still Young – The Talking Drums” on national radio in Freetown, quenched a large thirst and revived his career in West Africa.  More singles off the debut album are currently being requested by his fans and they await his exclusive Creole language album which will hit the streets of Africa later this year.
